I had to un-install the hotfix in order to be able to logon. I have a WinXP desktop with IE7 that I have yet to try. i don’t install yet the IE patch. For my browser i usually use FF or Chrome. there is so many bug on IE. I just use it for once, to download FF ;) . Sorry, i have no idea with your issue.
